What this site is
nihar.si is the personal website of Nihar Manchikalapudi. It publishes a profile (experience, projects, education, and contact links) as HTML pages and as Markdown and plain-text files for software agents. There are no accounts, no comments, no forms, no newsletter, and nothing to buy.
Data this site collects
The site does not set cookies, does not use browser storage, and does not run advertising, session replay, or third-party tracking scripts. Its Content Security Policy only allows the page to talk to its own origin, so no third-party script or beacon loads. The web font is bundled at build time and served from this domain, so no font request reaches a third party.
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. Its script is served from this domain and, when a page loads, reports the page path, referrer, approximate country, and browser, operating system, and device type. It sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors; Vercel describes how it works at https://vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.
Because there are no forms, the site never asks you to type anything. Keyboard shortcuts on the homepage only move the selection or open one of the listed links, and keystrokes are not recorded.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives the standard data a browser or agent sends with each request (IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and time) in order to deliver the page, protect against abuse, and keep operational logs. Vercel's handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy at https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. Apart from the page-view counts described above, Nihar does not add any logging, fingerprinting, or identification on top of that.
Links to other services
The homepage links out to GitHub, Devpost, LinkedIn, Calendly, Ko-fi, and the websites of the listed projects and employers. Those are separate services with their own privacy policies. Nothing is shared with them by this site; a request is made only when you choose to follow a link.
If you email nihar.manchikalapudi@gmail.com, Nihar receives your address and whatever you write. That information is used only to reply to you and is not added to any list or shared with anyone else.
Software agents and crawlers
Requests from AI agents, crawlers, and other automated clients are treated exactly like browser requests: they are served the page (or its Markdown twin) and produce the same Vercel request log. A client that runs the page script is also counted as a page view. robots.txt and llms.txt describe which machine-readable surfaces exist and permit indexing.
